Pastor Jim Parker
Pastor Jim has given leadership to
Bethany since 1996. Living just blocks from the church, Pastor Jim enjoys
the people of Bethany and the community as a whole. His major
responsibilities and giftedness include leadership, teaching, and
encouragement. Conducts baby dedications, baptisms, funerals, and
weddings, as well as regular pastoral duties.
Pastor Jim also serves in various community roles:
Founding and active Chairperson of East York Strategy, working to
reduce crime and create
good in East York-Danforth (www.eastyorkstrategy.com).
Executive board member of Pape Village Business
Improvement Area.
Chaplain for 54 Division,
Toronto Police Services.
Member of the Community Policing Liaison Committee
for 54 Division.
Coordinator of Chess Clubs at
William Burgess Public School and Westwood Middle School.
Is married with two daughters.
Enjoys sports, woodworking and reading.

We are pleased to give an honorarium, on a contract basis, to our talented
musician. Alex has attended Bethany all his life and adds significantly
to the quality of music around Bethany.
